Kennedy will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Woodcreek in at 6:00 PM.
Kennedy had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-33 walloping at Vista del Lago hands. Kennedy were down by 0-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Woodcreek took care of business in their home opener. They blew past Rio Americano 33-0.
Woodcreek's lifted them to 1-0 while Kennedy's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Woodcreek can add another positive mark to their record or if Kennedy can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Woodcreek's step.
