It was fun while it lasted, but Nokomis's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Saturday. They took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillsboro Hiltoppers. The matchup marked the Redskins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Several Redskins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Natalie Brownback, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 16 points.
