The Wells Wells CSD's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 61-36 defeat at the hands of Bolton Central. Wells has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Bolton Central found their leader in underclassman Maille Kelley, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kelley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Thea Kennedy, who scored 11 points.
Wells' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Bolton Central, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Willsboro Central the next time they take the court. Wells will head out to face the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
