The Ozaukee Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Reedsville Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ozaukee is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
On Saturday, Ozaukee sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Roncalli.

Ozaukee's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Joe Grabowski, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. The Warriors are 2-1 when Grabowski posts two or more stolen bases, but 2-4 otherwise. Dane Zimdars also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ozaukee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Reedsville). They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over Hilbert on Monday. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.
Logan Maertz looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.
At the plate, Reedsville got a massive performance out of Jack Schwahn, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those five RBI gave Schwahn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Schwahn, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Reedsville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ozaukee, their record now sits at 4-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Ozaukee has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Reedsville struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Ozaukee might still be hurting after the 14-2 defeat they got from Reedsville when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
