MFL MarMac have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Edgewood-Colesburg at 7:00 PM. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
MFL MarMac got themselves on the board against Lisbon last Friday, but Lisbon never followed suit. Everything went MFL MarMac's way against Lisbon as they made off with a 21-0 victory. MFL MarMac were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Edgewood-Colesburg put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 35-7 margin over Alburnett. The win was familiar territory for Edgewood-Colesburg, who now have six in a row.
Their wins bumped Edgewood-Colesburg to 6-1 and MFL MarMac to 4-3. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
