Cimarron is still undefeated this season after their contest against Dexter on Thursday, but Dexter came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Rams narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Demons 11-9. The 11-run effort marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Orion Ledoux and Urijah Martinez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Ledoux struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Martinez tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ledoux has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Ledoux scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Martinez scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Taven Martinez was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Cimarron pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Dexter, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Cimarron has already played their next game, a 9-5 loss against Logan on the 4th. As for Dexter, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-0 win against Mora on the 4th.
