Rusty Hatch Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Rusty Hatch produced his most outstanding game to date while leading North Gem to the win on Friday. Hatch rushed for 223 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.3 rushing touchdowns per game. Those 223 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Mackay had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Hatch it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Hatch saw the Miners), he rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns.

Craig Yost Dazzles in North Gem Victory
Craig Yost posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 264 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Mackay, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Yost. When Yost last faced the Miners back in September of 2023, he rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
