That makes it three consecutive games in which Lipps has scored at least a third of Ross' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelis Egodotaye, who posted five points.
Ross was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.
Meanwhile, Madison came up short against Oakwood on Thursday and fell 58-46.
Ross now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Madison, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Ross didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Madison when the teams last played back in December of 2021, but they still walked away with a 37-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ross since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
