It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Bishop Ready Silver Knights can now relate to. They suffered a tough 34-13 loss at the hands of Indian Valley on Friday. Bishop Ready's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Several Silver Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kentrell Rinehart, who rushed for 141 yards. Rinehart is absolutely dominating the rushing yard category: he's posted at least 100 every time he's taken the field this season.
Indian Valley found their leader in underclassman Grady Kinsey, who rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Kinsey really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
Bishop Ready's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Indian Valley, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4.
Bishop Ready does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Indian Valley is on the road again on Friday and play against Steubenville at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Steubenville is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
