Make it 11 blowout wins for the Brownstown Bombers this season. Everything went their way against Dieterich on Saturday as Brownstown made off with a 62-36 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-14.
Brownstown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lexi Seabaugh out in front who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Presley Williams, who scored 16 points.
Despite the defeat, Dieterich had strong showings from Addison Miller, who scored 12 points along with two blocks, and Sammi Goebel, who scored eight points. That's the first time this season that Miller posted two or more blocks.
Brownstown is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Dieterich, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brownstown will take on Ramsey at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Dieterich's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sandoval at 6:15 p.m. on January 23rd.
