Four Corners suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 67-42 defeat at the hands of Melbourne Central Catholic.
Four Corners' loss came about despite a quality game from Kesh Harpal, who scored 22 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 81-37 loss at the hands of Lakeland Christian. While losing is never fun, Ridgeview Global Studies Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 758th, while Lakeland Christian is ranked 366th).
The losing side was boosted by Bryan Lopez, who scored 14 points.
Four Corners bumped their record down to 3-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
Four Corners was able to grind out a solid win over Ridgeview Global Studies Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023, winning 66-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Four Corners since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
