After a string of nine wins, the Umatilla Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They took a hard  61-43 fall against Osceola. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Umatilla has scored all season.
 Despite the  defeat, Umatilla saw an underclassman step up:  Herly Brutus  scored 24 points along with seven  rebounds and six  steals. Brutus is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight.
 Umatilla  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only two  offensive rebounds. That's the fewest  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Osceola found their leader in underclassman  Luke Mccrimon, who  scored 27 points along with five  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordan Mason, who  scored ten points.
 Umatilla's loss  ended  a  ten-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 17-4. As for Osceola, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Umatilla won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against the Bulldogs at 7:00  p.m.  on January 30th. Davenport will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Kowboys are ranked 155th).
