Benicia is 8-1 against Northgate since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will look to defend their home field against the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. Northgate took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Benicia, who comes in off a win.

Benicia let College Park stack four runs on them in the second inning on Thursday but luckily Benicia prevailed anyway. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons, sneaking past 7-6. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.

The team relied heavily on Kaity Nichols, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Leilani Andrews was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Benicia hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive contests.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Northgate nor Clayton Valley Charter made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Broncos fell 7-2 to the Ugly Eagles. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Ugly Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Northgate saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophie Hanko, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Benicia has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Northgate, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Everything went Benicia's way against Northgate in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Benicia made off with an 11-1 win. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
