The Peoria Panthers posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Agua Fria with a sharp 67-46 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Peoria.
Peoria can attribute much of their success to Nehemiah Ward, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ward has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Desmone Brooks-conley, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Agua Fria's loss came despite strong showings from Jonathan Daniels jr and Bryan Burrows. Daniels jr scored ten points along with nine rebounds, while Burrows scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Peoria's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15. As for Agua Fria, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peoria will take on Estrella Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Estrella Foothills is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Agua Fria, they will head out on the road to challenge Cactus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cactus has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 688 points over their last ten matchups.
