 In other batting news, ThunderRidge let  Rowan Daufeldt and  Allie Horsford loose on the outfield. What's more,  Daufeldt also posted a .750  batting average, which is the highestshe's  posted since back in October of 2023. Another player making a difference was  Aubrey Conant, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, ThunderRidge was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .607. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile, Douglas County got the win against Highlands Ranch  on Monday by a conclusive  9-3. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six  runs or more this season.
  Ayal Fulmer was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of  Juju Ramirez, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 ThunderRidge's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-11. As for Douglas County, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
 Wednesday's   match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. ThunderRidge has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of 0. However, it's not like Douglas County struggles in that department as   they've  averaged 0. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
