Baseball Recap: Omaha Northwest Has No Trouble Against Tekamah-Herman

Omaha Northwest barely beat Tekamah-Herman the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Omaha Northwest blew past Tekamah-Herman 15-7 on Monday. The Huskies not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9, 2024.

Will Krebbs made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Krebbs was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on George Upah, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Daniel Wescott was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

The victory got Omaha Northwest back to even at 1-1. As for Tekamah-Herman, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Omaha Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-0 defeat against Papillion-LaVista South on the 25th. As for Tekamah-Herman, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-2 loss against Arlington on the 27th.
