While Lindsay's victory against Kingston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lindsay Leopards skirted past the Kingston Redskins 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Leopards have posted since March 19, 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Lindsay and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Kingston, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindsay will head out to square off against Little Axe at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kingston, they will head out on the road to take on Hugo at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Kingston is facing Hugo at the right time seeing as Hugo is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
