The Rochester Rockets can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. Everything went their way against Charleston as Rochester made off with a 61-38 win. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Rochester had established a 22 point advantage.
Henry Buecker was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Cox, who scored 16 points.
Charleston lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Adam Rudibaugh, who scored 15 points. Luke Bonnstetter was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Rochester's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Charleston, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.
Rochester will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Senators at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. As for Charleston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Flaming Hearts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
