Ensworth owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Father Ryan Irish 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Irish: they've now won eight in a row.

Ensworth's victory bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Father Ryan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-17.

Ensworth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-2 win against Brentwood Academy on the 26th. Hopefully Father Ryan paid attention to the Tigers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
