Plainfield Central waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Joliet Central Steelmen with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Plainfield Central's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Joliet Central, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-21.
