Scott entered their tilt with Roane County on Saturday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They enjoyed a cozy 56-41 win over the Roane County Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-37 back in December of 2024.

Scott got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Colin Williamson out in front who went 6-for-14 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Brown, who posted eight points and seven boards.

Scott smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Scott's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. As for Roane County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott will host Clay County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Scott is facing Clay County at the right time seeing as Clay County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Roane County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ravenswood at 7:30 p.m. Roane County has given up an average of 59.2 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
