The Alcester-Hudson Cubs put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past Burke, posting a 50-12 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Alcester-Hudson, who have now won eight games by 22 points or more so far this season.
Although Burke took the loss, they still got scores from Bryce Bartling and Kaleb Schonebaum.
Alcester-Hudson's win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-0. As for Burke, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Alcester-Hudson will take on Deubrook at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Dakota (Deubrook is ranked 16th, while Alcester-Hudson is ranked ninth). Burke does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
