Homedale extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They walked away with a 28-21 win over the Kimberly Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Homedale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kade Hall led the charge by rushing for 77 yards and three touchdowns. Hall didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made six total tackles. Chance Martell was another key player, gaining 80 total yards and a touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Homedale proved: they limited Kimberly to a paltry 2.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Tyce Fisher for the heroic effort on defense: he. Homedale's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.2.

Homedale's defense didn't let Titus Osterman., get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. Fisher was especially locked on to Kimberly's QB and sacked him three times. Fisher is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

As for Kimberly, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. Despite 57 more yards than Homedale, the Bulldogs couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Although Kimberly took the loss, they still got scores from Quentin Pettingill, Joe Barrett, and Osterman.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homedale will welcome Jerome at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kimberly, they will host Sugar-Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Diggers' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
