The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies and the Mishawaka Cavemen squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies had to settle for second. They fell to the Cavemen 41-37. Plymouth just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.
Several Pilgrims/Rockies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alana Allen, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals. Allen has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Rylee Mann was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Plymouth has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Mishawaka, the win got them back to even at 12-12.
Plymouth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mishawaka will face off against the Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. South Bend Washington is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
