After flying high against Wilder  last Tuesday, Notus came back down to earth. The Notus Pirates were just a bucket shy of victory  on Friday and fell  64-63 to the Rimrock Raiders. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Tuesday (55), the Pirates still had to take the loss.

 Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Caleb Cudaback, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 11  boards. The dominant performance gave  Cudaback a new career-high in  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Luis Vargas, who  went 5 of 9  en route to 14  points.
Notus' defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Rimrock, their record is now 9-2.
 Notus will challenge Centennial Baptist at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Centennial Baptist has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Rimrock, they will face off against Wilder at 8:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
