The Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Valley Christian by a score of 50-43. The victory was some much needed relief for Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Annelise Curran was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 17 steals. Taytem Collins was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Valley Christian, they bumped their record down to 5-11 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame will head out on the road to face off against Almira-Coulee-Hartline at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Valley Christian, they will be playing at home against Colton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Colton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Valley Christian in Washington (Colton is ranked 145th, while Valley Christian is ranked 297th).
