Softball Recap: Huron Has No Trouble Against Carey

Huron saw some tournament action on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Carey Blue Devils as they made off with a 10-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Huron and bumps their season record up to 9-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Carey, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Huron wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Port Clinton on the 28th. As for Carey, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Colonel Crawford on the 30th.
