The Pebblebrook Falcons had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Tri-Cities with a 74-70 win on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Tre Keith and Ja'shun London certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Keith scored 30 points, while London scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The matchup was Keith's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamon Canty, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds.
Pebblebrook's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Tri-Cities, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pebblebrook will take on McEachern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McEachern presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pebblebrook in Georgia (McEachern is ranked 71st, while Pebblebrook is ranked 243rd). As for Tri-Cities, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
