Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy has struggled against Big Bear recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Big Bear's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aiden Brewer, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Brewer has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Dolan, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds.
Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Big Bear, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Big Bear's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hesperia Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hesperia Christian is on a three-game streak of home wins, Big Bear a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
