Fort Bend Hightower took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Bend Austin, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Fort Bend Austin narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Fort Bend Bush 3-2. The win was just what Fort Bend Austin needed coming off of a 4-1 defeat in their prior contest.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Sydney Mccoy and
Isabella Hamlin-segura, who scored all three of Fort Bend Austin's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 16 so far this season.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Fort Bend Hightower's offense. They suffered a tough 9-0 defeat at the hands of Fort Bend Clements on Tuesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fort Bend Hightower in their matchups with Fort Bend Clements: they've now lost five in a row.
Fort Bend Austin's win bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Fort Bend Hightower, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
Everything went Fort Bend Austin's way against Fort Bend Hightower in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 as Fort Bend Austin made off with a 4-0 victory.
