Louisville is 9-1 against Noxubee County since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Louisville Wildcats will be staying on the road to face off against the Noxubee County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Louisville was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to Leake Central. While losing is never fun, Louisville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while Leake Central is ranked 48th).
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Noxubee County, who are still winless after their fourth game. They had to suffer through a rough 71-8 loss at the hands of Neshoba Central. Noxubee County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-2.
Louisville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Noxubee County, they bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
