Rudy Rios' Big Game Leads Centennial over Hobbs
Rudy Rios was instrumental in extending Centennial's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Rios as he rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also caught a touchdown.
Centennial pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Rios will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Organ Mountain on Friday.

Kason Perez was a major factor in Carlsbad's win over Alamogordo on Friday. Perez was unstoppable, throwing for 265 yards and three touchdowns.

He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards.

Rounding off our Top Five is Dylan Hergenreder of Alamogordo. Hergenreder rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 38 receiving yards.
Alamogordo is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Hergenreder will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Las Cruces on Thursday.
