After losing to the Liberty Charter Lions the last time they met, the Bonsall Legionnaires decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went Bonsall's way against Liberty Charter on Tuesday as Bonsall made off with a 62-42 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bonsall.
Bonsall found their leader in underclassman Kaimana Levy, who scored 22 points. The match was Levy's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Winebrenner, who scored 12 points.
Bonsall now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Liberty Charter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Bonsall will be playing in front of their home fans against Cornerstone Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberty Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Castle Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
