Medina entered their tilt with Leakey on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Holland Cook made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

In other batting news, Medina got a massive performance out of Jaxon Kunz, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave Kunz a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Silva, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.

Medina pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Leakey, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
