Elijah Martin tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Wesleyan Christian Academy is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 9-11 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Nick Papciak was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Caleb Hasty, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cougars on Tuesday. High Point Christian Academy took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calvary Day School. High Point Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
High Point Christian Academy also got a good showing from HUNTER KELLEY, who struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). KELLEY has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
Wesleyan Christian Academy now has a winning record of 12-11. As for High Point Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.
Wesleyan Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over High Point Christian Academy in their previous meeting on April 3rd, winning 3-0. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
