North Warren Regional had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but  on Friday they dropped down to 1-1 to make it six. They lost  29-6 to the Wallkill Valley Rangers. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing  23-8 to the Rangers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Wallkill Valley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 19  points this season.
 Wallkill Valley found their leader in sophomore  Gabriel Perrotto-Wald, who rushed for 45 yards and a pair of  TDs.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. North Warren Regional will  challenge  rival Hopatcong  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Wallkill Valley is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Kinnelon  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
