There's no place like home for Altamonte Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They snuck past the Bridge to Independence Wildcats with a 49-45 win on Thursday. The 49-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Altamonte Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Antoni Padol out in front who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zariraah Simpkins, who earned 11 points.

Altamonte Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bridge to Independence, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Altamonte Christian and Lyman will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for Bridge to Independence, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Conrad Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
