Decorah-North Winneshiek extended the longest winning streak in 3A District 5 this week by beating Oelwein, 63-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Vikings.
Crestwood made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,446 from 8,723.
Crestwood's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cadets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kolter Freidhof has thrown for 671 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Spencer Bohr has 19 catches for 247 yards. Kody Sindelar leads the league in rushing with 218 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Decorah-North Winneshiek takes on Western Dubuque. Bill Post's team is in first place, while the Bobcats are in third place.
