After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Union, Mooreville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Belmont Cardinals as they made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Troopers, who have now won 15 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Mooreville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Belmont, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-18.

Mooreville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cardinals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
