Six must be Ewing's lucky number: they beat Notre Dame with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Blue Devils beat the Irish by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 on Thursday.

The victory made it two in a row for Ewing and bumps their season record up to 3-3. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Notre Dame, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ewing will take on West Windsor-Plainsboro South at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Notre Dame, they will face off against Hightstown at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
