Kalida and Ottoville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Kalida had to settle for second. They took a hard 43-24 fall against the Ottoville Big Green. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Addilyn Huber and Ady Miller, who each put up six points. Allie Kuhlman took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Kalida's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Ottoville, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 25-2.

Kalida does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ottoville, they will host Fort Loramie at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Ottoville has won ten straight at home, while Fort Loramie won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
