The Scituate Spartans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 69-58 to Highlander Charter. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the defeat, Scituate saw an underclassman step up: Ryan Larsh scored 23 points along with six rebounds. Cam Healey was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Scituate bumped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Highlander Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Scituate will head out on the road to face off against Blackstone Valley Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highlander Charter, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Achievement First Providence at 6:30 p.m.
