The El Dorado Wildcats were the 45-33 winner over the Clearwater Indians when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. El Dorado took a 55-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clearwater. El Dorado just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
El Dorado lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Logan Garner, who scored 16 points. The match was Garner's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dillon Scott, who scored nine points.
El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Clearwater, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2.
El Dorado will be home for the holidays to greet Wellington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wellington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Dorado in Kansas (Wellington is ranked 45th, while El Dorado is ranked 220th). As for Clearwater, they will head out on the road to face off against Andale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
