Their rough 63-38 defeat to Jordan Christian Prep Sunshine might stick with them for a while. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Central Pointe Christian Academy came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Jordan Christian Prep Sunshine is ranked 392nd).
Balboa School has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Central Pointe Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
