On Friday Foss will take on Lindbergh at 7:00 PM. Foss come in off of six low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
There's no need to mince words: Foss lost to Washington last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-59. Foss were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-26.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Lindbergh, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were completely outmatched, falling 9-68 to Foster. The state rankings had actually given Lindbergh a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
