Brady Jones was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Oakman's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 6-8 when he doesn't). Jones was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.
