The Calvary Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell to Tom Bean 48-43.
Tom Bean's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maguire Poole led the charge by scoring 14 points along with 9 steals and 5 rebounds. Poole is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last five games he's played. Garrett Kelly was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 4 steals.
Calvary Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Tom Bean, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
Calvary Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bridgeport at 9:00 a.m. on December 2nd. As for Tom Bean, they will square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday.
