Grantsville has gone 9-1 against Morgan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cowboys will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 3:30 p.m. Grantsville is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
Grantsville proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by seven) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Logan 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cowboys have posted since March 8, 2024.
Jordan Fawson tossed a big game, striking out 11 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

Those four stolen bases gave Warren a new career-high. Patton Rose was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
Grantsville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Morgan's offense. They lost 8-0 to Bear River on Friday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.
Grantsville pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Morgan, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Grantsville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Morgan struggles in that department as they've averaged .331. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Grantsville couldn't quite finish off Morgan in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 and fell 7-5. Will the Cowboys have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
