The third road match was the charm for Douglass, as they earned their first away win of the season. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Cushing Bearkats on Tuesday. Considering the Indians have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Douglass now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Cushing, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-8-1.

Douglass will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cushing: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
