Meanwhile, Exeter entered their tilt with Golden City with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Exeter took down Golden City 55-41 on Tuesday.
McAuley Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Exeter, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.
McAuley Catholic was able to grind out a solid win over Exeter in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 56-44. Will McAuley Catholic repeat their success, or does Exeter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
